Los Gallos hails from Portland, Oregon and brings with them the sounds of flamenco rumba music with its rich gypsy and Arabic roots. Their sets are infused with romantic Spanish guitar and cover everything Latin from rumba, to boleros and meringue. Lead singer of the group Mercedes Estevez is from Barcelona Spain and moved to Portland five years ago. Her joyful spirit and passion fill her voice with an enchanting unique splendor.

Guitarist/vocalist David Brackett has been enamored with Spanish music since he can remember and originally had the vision to form Los Gallos.  After living in Sevilla, Spain for five years where he studied different variations of flamenco rumba music David met up with Mercedes in Portland and have playing together ever since.
